** Principal Systems Engineer
** to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS and Ghost Eye Radars.  

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.
** This role can be based out of Tewksbury, Andover, Marlborough MA or Pelham NH.

* What You Will Do:

** In this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:
* Core Systems Engineering:
Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
* Lead Testing Efforts:
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
* Troubleshoot and Analyze:
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
* Drive Performance:
Work across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
* Modeling and Simulation:
Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
* Integrate Systems:
Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
* Document and Communicate:
Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
* Perform Data Analysis:
Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
* Present Findings:
Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
* Support Missions:
Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
* Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
* Experience with model-based engineering.
* Experience in developing and managing requirements.
* Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.
* Experience with C++, Python, or similar
* Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
* Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
* Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.
* Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.
