Position: WAREHOUSE & QUALITY SPECIALIST

GA Drilling is developing next-gen drilling technologies to unlock geothermal energy at depths and in conditions that conventional drilling cannot reach economically. Our mission is to make geothermal a scalable, baseload source of clean power by enabling reliable, efficient drilling in hard, hot rock. With engineering teams in the USA, Brazil, the UK, and across Europe, we are progressing rapidly toward commercial deployment of our technologies.

We are seeking a UK Warehouse & Quality Specialist to support our new UK Product Centre in Tewkesbury.

This role is responsible for day‑to‑day warehouse operations, inventory and asset control, and basic quality checks on incoming and stored materials. You will play a key role in making sure the right parts are in the right place, at the right time, and correctly documented in SAP B1 to support tool assembly, testing, and field operations.

You will be based at our UK Tewkesbury Product Centre.

The opportunity for you

You will be a core member of the operations team at our UK Product Centre, working closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality & Compliance, and Engineering. Your work will ensure materials are received, stored, and issued accurately and safely, and that basic QC/QA checks are performed at the warehouse level so issues are caught early. This is a hands‑on role with real impact on schedule, cost, and quality as we move from prototype builds to commercial operations.

You

will own
  • Warehouse Operations & Material Handling
    • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring paperwork and physical goods match (delivery notes, packing lists, purchase orders).
    • Label, store, and organize materials in the warehouse using defined locations and storage methods.
    • Pick, kit, and issue parts and assemblies for production, test, and field shipments in line with pick lists and work orders.
    • Pack and prepare outbound shipments (including crates and cases) in line with company requirements and applicable transport rules.
  • Inventory & Asset Management
    • Maintain accurate stock records for components, assemblies, consumables, and key assets using SAP B1.
    • Perform regular cycle counts and support full stock/asset counts; investigate and document discrepancies.
    • Support implementation of stock policies (min/max levels, critical spares, quarantine areas) defined by the Director, Global Operations & Supply Chain.
    • Help track and control key tools, fixtures, gauges, and test equipment located in or managed via the warehouse.
  • Warehouse Quality & Basic QC/QA
    • Conduct basic quality checks on incoming materials in accordance with agreed inspection plans (visual checks, documentation review, simple measurements).
    • Identify and segregate non‑conforming items, clearly labelling and moving them to designated quarantine/hold areas.
    • Work with Engineering and Quality & Compliance to elevate technical or complex quality issues and support investigations.
    • Maintain accurate, legible records of inspections, non‑conformances, and concessions at the warehouse level.
  • Use SAP B1 (or similar ERP) to process goods receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and to maintain accurate item/location records.
  • Support accurate maintenance of item master data, bin locations, and serial/lot tracking where required.
  • Ensure that warehouse‑related documentation (receiving logs, pick lists, packing lists, inspection forms) is correctly completed, filed, and retrievable for audits and API Q1/Q2 evidence.
  • Follow all company HSE policies and procedures in the warehouse, including safe lifting, handling, and storage of materials.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and tidy warehouse environment (5S, housekeeping, waste segregation).
  • Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse layout, processes, and documentation; participate in simple Lean/continuous improvement activities.
What we expect from you
  • Experience & technical skills
    • 3–7 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or stores roles in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
    • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP or SAP Business One) for goods receipt, stock movements, and basic reporting.
