Chilled Warehouse Picker & Packer

Location: Tewkesbury Trading Estate

Pay: £12.60/hr, raising with training and experience, OT x1.25 after 40 hours

Hours: 37.5 hrs, 5 days per week (Mon-Sat). Rota shifts: 07:00-16:30 / 09:00-18:30. Saturdays: 07:00-16:00

Duration: Permanent after 12 weeks

About the Role: This vital role within the distribution chain is the link between production and our haulage team. This is a physical role, working in a temperature-controlled environment, which requires responsibility for accurately picking customer orders, while maintaining health and safety within the workplace. You will work swiftly to facilitate the timely and accurate preparation of customer orders to wholesale buyers and our outlying depots, while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders
• Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment
• Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles
• Complying with food hygiene regulations

• A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Proactive, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure
• Prior experience in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential
