I'm supporting an established engineering and technology business that, due to continued growth across its manufacturing operations, is looking to appoint an experienced Wiring Technician. This is a hands-on production role within a high-quality engineering environment, supporting the build and assembly of complex electrical and electronic systems.

The business operates across a range of technical sectors, delivering engineered solutions for demanding applications. This role offers long-term stability, exposure to varied projects, and genuine opportunities for career development within a growing organisation.

• Wire and assemble control panels and electronic equipment to detailed specifications.
• Build wiring looms and harnesses from schematics, drawings, and wiring schedules.
• Install cables, connectors, and components with a strong focus on quality and precision.
• Carry out inspection, testing, and fault-finding on completed assemblies.
• Work collaboratively to meet production, safety, and quality standards.

• Proven experience building wiring harnesses and looms in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience assembling and wiring electronic equipment or control panels.
• Ability to accurately interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of connector types, cables, and electrical components.
• Understanding of wiring standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent.
