The Role As a Test Equipment Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting Ontic’s UK MRO Operations, ensuring hydraulic, pneumatic and associated test equipment is reliable, compliant and fit for purpose. You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support, maintenance and fault resolution of both current and future test equipment, helping to keep assembly and test operations running efficiently and safely

* Key responsibilities include:

*** Fault finding, repair and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic test equipment
* Providing technical support to internal stakeholders and liaising with external suppliers
* Defining, implementing and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Developing preventative maintenance schedules and tracking equipment performance against KPIs
* Supporting the design and maintenance of interfaces for units under test
* Providing operator training on test equipment use and best practice
* Supporting oil cleanliness laboratory activities
* Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and company requirements, including health & safety## About You## At Ontic, our culture is integral to making sure we enjoy our work and deliver for our customers. You’ll be a confident and capable engineer with a strong background in test equipment support, ideally within an aerospace MRO environment.

You’ll bring:
* A degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline, or significant relevant industry experience
* Proven experience supporting test equipment in an MRO or regulated engineering environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Confidence using MS Office and ERP systems
* A flexible approach, with the ability to work outside core hours and travel when required

Aerospace experience is highly desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
