Residential Drivers needed in Terrell, TX! Residential Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks to safely navigate neighborhoods and collect waste from residential homes. Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
• Operates the vehicle in compliance with Live Oak Environmental Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and records findings on the standard Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR).
• Immediately report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by Live Oak Environmental.
• Works closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notifies the Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Notifies the Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, streets, alleyways, or potential safety hazards.
• Communicates customer requests to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement.
• Completes and submits customer tickets as required.
• Follows route assignments as directed and completes end-of-day documentation and the check-out process.
• Performs all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

Experience:
Two (2) years of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement.
• Must be 21 or older.
• ASL experience. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required
• Acceptable driving record required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully completed pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical. Compensation: $26 - $28 hourly
