Location:

Terrell, TX.

• Provide direct patient care as defined under the state Nurse Practice act using sound judgment and critical thinking.
• Implement the plan of care and treatment initiated by the registered nurse.
• Provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing process.
• Conduct ongoing assessments.
• Observe client condition and accurately report to the registered nurse.
• Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures competent in accordance with the scope of practice and adhere to policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions.

• Graduate of a National League of Nursing accredited practical or vocational school of nursing.
• Unencumbered Texas LVN license.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience required; three years preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x‑ray.
• Minimum of two references (professional and personal).
