• Read and interpret shop drawings
• Maintain housekeeping and help control scrap
• Obtain and maintain the GMAW 2G welding certification
• Ensure structural components are assembled correctly
• Safely operate an arc gouger, grinder, magnetic drill and Flip‑rite crane
• Communicate up and down the line to ensure quality and completeness
• Be flexible to work any schedule needed
• Show ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times

• Experience reading drawings, prints, and proficiency with tape measure and micrometer
• 2G GMAW weld Certification
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Crane and forklift certifications
• Prior welding/fitting experience
• Experience reading blueprints
• Basic understanding of metal building system fabrication
