Haul Truck Driver

Overview

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Haul Truck Driver based out of our Terrell, TX
. As a Mobile Equipment Operator
, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Safely operate a haul truck, farm tractor, water truck or rubber tire backhoe
• Operate equipment in quarry
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work environment

• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• No prior experience required, training provided

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
