Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.

Performs clerical duties to include, but not limited to, office supply management, answering phones, taking messages, filing, copying, faxing, emailing, calendar management, preparing routine reports, collecting, and organizing statistical data, drafting written summaries, developing forms, assembling, compiling and organizing data, and performing data entry and retrieval for the Nursing Education Department.

Coordinates scheduling and training as well as other activities and duties associated with New Nurse Orientation (NNO). Activities include maintaining training schedules and arranging for location reservations, ensuring the NNO Manual updates are carried out on an ongoing basis, ensuring NNO Competency Checklists updates are implemented, administering NNO Testing Updates, updating the Electronic Manual, processing Pyxis paperwork.

Coordinates scheduling of interviews and assists the PNA IV Coordinator with proctoring interviews for PNA pool applicants. Assists with obtaining work references for PNA pool interviewees scoring high enough to be offered employment.

Coordinates scheduling and training as well as other activities and duties associated with Nursing Student Orientation. Activities include processing materials required for orientation, reviewing requests for clinical rotations, preparing clinical schedules, updating student handbook, collecting student evaluations, and entering data into the computer.
