Job Summary

Candidate is responsible for ordering, delivering and serving food & beverage items to the patrons in various venues and event spaces off the casino floor. Attendants are responsible for providing accurate service, professional appearance and a friendly attitude towards guests and fellow team members. Servers must practice safe food & beverage handling techniques as demonstrated and required by management. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greets on arrival and regards on departure to Guests visiting in a warm and inviting manner.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment while remaining calm, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including cash and food handling requirements.
  • Present and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Work safely, with sanitation, efficiency, and guest loyalty in mind.
  • Maintain a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy of items, perhaps hundreds of times over.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the service area; keep the dining room/venue floor presentable.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of relevant information.
  • Operate communication devices (telephone, two-way radio, guest paging system) and both computerized and manual table management systems.
  • Interact with guests to maintain great guest relations and loyalty opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse people and levels of authority.
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking ability and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and a sense of urgency.
  • Communicate effectively with dignity, kindness and respect to guests and team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience

Previous experience in Beverage Service is preferred with POS or Micros type systems. Knowledge of various mixed drinks preferred. Candidate must be customer service oriented, possess good interpersonal skills, strong money handling skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Hours vary and will include holidays and weekends. Candidate must maintain a positive upbeat demeanor and be properly groomed.

All service staff will be required to learn and be tested on new products, recipes, and service/preparation techniques to improve the department. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Work Environment: The work environment is loud. There is smoking in portions of the casino, and the environment may be smoky.

Physical Demands: The employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods; walk; use hands to finger, reach, handle, or feel objects; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently and more with assistance.
