Overview
Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treats more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. With an aging society, rising obesity and diabetes rates, and increasing surgical procedures, the need for expert wound care is growing dramatically. The Clinical Coordinator (CC) / Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) coordinates clinical activities of the Wound Care Center, working collaboratively with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide case management to a group of patients, performing assessments, procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care.
- Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities; provide oversight to clinical staff (RN, LPN, LVN, CMA, Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians, etc.).
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, key hospital personnel, and center providers regarding clinical and patient needs.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements in compliance with HPAA, DOH, hospital and Healogics requirements.
- Engage in staff development, providing general services, instruction, and orientation.
- Recognize staff through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
- Coordinate program objectives from a budgetary and financial perspective.
- Assist in vein clinic coordination and provide care as needed after training.
- Work with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve wound care center quality indicators.
- Serve as a documentation/scribe assistant per Healogics and hospital policies.
- Perform hyperbaric safety director duties after required training; act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after training.
- Perform patient care based on center staffing needs.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) license, maintained throughout employment.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - One year experience as an RN required; two or more years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

The salary for this position generally ranges between $78,900.00 and $ annually. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography, as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
