This is for either an 8-hour OR 12-hour position.

To assist the Machine Operator in packing quality product, setting up, adjusting and operating a Converting machine that converts polyethylene plastic film to bags and/or roll stock for customer packaging needs.

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work with and interact effectively and professionally with coworkers in a team environment
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to identify the source of problems on complex machinery, and take the appropriate corrective action
• Must be able to read, understand and stay current with all department work instructions and procedures
• Good organizational skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; experience in converting and/or a manufacturing environment a plus.

• Occasional sitting
• Occasional standing
• Frequent walking
• Occasional below waist level work
• Occasional climbing, balancing, pushing/pulling
• Occasionally lifts up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent reaching above shoulder, reaching over 15” away from body
• Occasional fine motor and forceful motion
• Must have good vision and hearing and use of both hands
• Must be able to communicate with coworkers and Crew Leaders
• Must pass company administered color vision test
