Chemical Loading Operator – Weekday Nights

Hours: Monday – Wednesday alternating Thursdays 7 PM – 7:30 AM. Training on first shift during the week for 2–4 months; shift premium applies.
Responsibilities- Inspect all containers inside and out before filling.
- Clean all reactors before manufacturing products.
- Use prescribed safety equipment while filling and mixing.
- Ensure product meets quality standards before leaving production area.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of production areas.
- Inspect tank trucks before loading and unloading.
- Review paperwork before loading/unloading.
- Review production schedules and batch records.
- Perform tote cleaning and maintain related records.
- Conduct weekly area inspections and complete logs.
- Attend required training unless absent.
- Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence.
- Participate in Emergency Response Team, RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training activities.
- Complete Maximo service requests for equipment needing repair.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Experience & Educational Criteria- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Stand or walk up to 12 hours per shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift; lift 100 lbs on occasion.
- Climb steps and ladders up to 40 ft several times daily.
- Wear respirator up to 4 hours a day without restrictions.
- Meet DOT vision requirements.
- Maintain quality facilities and deliver quality products.
- Participate in regulatory and safety training activities; be RCRA compliant.
- Regular attendance essential.
- Work with other staff to balance workload; provide backup support.
- Support effective communication across Hydrite departments.
- Up to 10% retirement contribution.
- $5,000 sign‑on.
- $1.50 /hour shift premium.
- $600 per year wellness incentive.
