Position Overview
This role provides strategic and operational leadership for supply chain functions, ensuring materials, production schedules, and outbound deliveries are aligned with business and customer needs. The position oversees daily supply chain activities while building scalable processes, standards, and capabilities that improve efficiency, reliability, and performance across the operation. The role serves as a key member of the site leadership team and plays a critical role in long‑term operational planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Champion and enforce all company safety policies, procedures, and workplace standards
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, ensuring targets are achieved and corrective actions are implemented when needed
- Lead, develop, and train supply chain team members, creating structured training plans and promoting a high level of functional expertise
- Develop and maintain material cost forecasts and standard cost data
- Review demand forecasts, quotas, and planning assumptions to assess impact on supply chain activities
- Identify, design, and implement new or improved supply chain processes to support evolving business requirements
- Document end‑to‑end supply chain workflows, including system usage, cycle times, and role responsibilities
- Develop and optimize warehousing and material flow strategies for raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods
- Analyze inventory performance to improve turns, reduce excess and waste, and support customer service objectives
- Collaborate cross‑functionally on engineering changes, product updates, and new product introductions to ensure smooth material and production transitions
- Design supply chain solutions that support growth initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and changing market conditions
- Build and execute supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Lead annual planning activities, including budgets, capital planning, and labor forecasting
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and operational standards within areas of responsibility
- Provide direct leadership to supply chain staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development
- Assign and prioritize work to meet operational objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Address employee concerns, resolve issues, and foster a collaborative, accountable team environment
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading and managing teams
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience working with SAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Prior experience in supply chain leadership, customer planning, and material planning strongly preferred
