Job Summary /Basic Function

Teach children in summer camps theater and/or music instruction in line with the camp themes, especially during P.E. and recess.

Specific Responsibilities

The Recess or PE Camp Instructor will lead, plan, and supervise active, outdoor, and indoor physical activities, ensuring the safety, engagement, and skill development of campers. They will promote positive sportsmanship, manage group behavior, and create a fun, inclusive recreational experience. This active role requires high energy, stamina for constant movement, and the ability to foster a safe, energetic community.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday during the summer. Hours may vary but will not exceed 28 hours.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Supervise and instruct campers, especially during P.E. and recess.

* Instructors develop curriculums, conduct rehearsals, assist in musical/theatrical performances, and assess the progress of students.
