Job Summary /Basic Function

Assist with implementing education department events.

Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule

Tuesdays 9 a.m.

- noon; and/or Saturdays 10 a.m.

- 4:00 p.m.;
Sundays noon - 4:00 p.m.

NCAA Guidelines

All employees and staff of ISU are bound by all NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to intercollegiate athletics and must conduct themselves in accordance therewith. Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties for this position take place at 727 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47807 and include:

* Assist with implementing education department events. (Learning Labs, Tot Time, Baby Explorer, Hands on Science, ect.)

* Assist with holiday activities and events.

* Teach lessons and basic lab experiments each week.

* Assist with planning lessons and activities for various events.

* Create a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.

* Possess appropriate behavior management of children.

* Occasionally assist with supervising and managing volunteers.

* Be able to be a Play Guide when needed on the museum floor.

* Be able to work most weekends and school breaks.
