Responsibilities
- Develop, gather, shoot, write and edit compelling news stories on a daily basis
- Report live from the field as assigned
- Write, edit and post compelling content for the website
- Contribute story ideas regularly; strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure are a must
- Develop and maintain contacts and news sources
- Attend and represent the station at community events regularly
- Other job related duties as required
- College degree in journalism or a related field
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Strong news judgment
- Experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under strict deadline pressure
- Web publishing skills
