Paint Line Clerk - SDI Heartland

Oversee paint ordering and warehouse, and scheduling. Support the manager, leadership, and production team day-to-day.

• Order paint and maintain paint inventory system
• Maintain document control of department records
• Verify and maintain receiving records for department
• Build production schedules for production lines to optimize line efficiency while balancing customer due dates and expectations
• Collaborate with human resources group to schedule/support interviews
• Maintain training records for all employees
• Provide routine updates of on departmental performance statistics
• Manage purchasing card for the department
  
  Perform other miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties
• Direct vendors and customers at office entry

• Strong safety record
• 2+ years of experience in related position and/or 2-year degree in Business
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking
• Must be self-motivated, able to make decisions, and work without direct supervision
• Must maintain and ensure complete confidentiality of employee records
• Must establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, administrators, other departments, and external entities/agencies

• Clerical, logistic, and inventory management experience
