Job Title:
Accounting Assistant – Temporary (Indiana)
Classification:
Non-exempt, Hourly
Length of Temporary Assignment:
February – June
- Billing and service modifications due to new accounts/account changes
- Quality-control for residential service pricing
- Check billing exceptions, accounts on hold, or other billing situations
- Update employee services accounts at onboarding/offboarding
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
- Adept at written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to run reports/compare data
- Ability to evaluate situations and adjust to changing priorities
- Strong skills in MS Office applications
- Associates’ degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- Candidate must be willing to reside near or commute to a Joink office (Currently within Illinois: Taylorville, Hillsboro; Indiana: Terre Haute)
- Candidates which have the following will have priority:
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with various accounting software
