Duties: Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources and working closely with the Human Resources and Payroll staff, the Human Resources Advisor provides advice and guidance as an HR generalist related to labour relations, recruitment and retention, employee well-being, benefits and leave management, disability case management, job descriptions, classifications, learning and professional development. The HRA is an advocate for healthy employer-employee relations, fostering a proactive, problem-solving approach to relationships and ensuring that priorities and issues are effectively supported and effectively concluded.
This position can be based at the Smithers, Terrace, or Prince Rupert campus.

Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, such as human resources preferred from an appropriately accredited institution along with a minimum of two years of progressive related experience in a human resources role. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered. Additional Human Resources related certifications are considered an asset, such as CPHR, Labour Relations certificate, etc.
