A day in the life at Frito-Lay
Picture this: you start your shift with a safety check of your forklift, review the days picks on a handheld scanner, and get to work moving palletized snacks through a multi-tier warehouse. Youll stage loads, shuttle product to and from trailers, and slot inventory in racking all while keeping the aisles clean and organized. Its fast-paced, team-driven work that keeps our products flowing to customers every day.
- Operate a forklift safely after completing company-provided training and certification.
- Load and unload trailers, moving pallets to designated areas efficiently.
- Place and retrieve product in multi-level storage locations with precision.
- Pick cases per order using company technology and follow pick lists accurately.
- Track inventory using handheld scanners and Inventory Control Systems.
- Maintain housekeeping and complete sanitation tasks (sweeping, cleaning trailers, removing trash, etc.).
Our facility runs 24/7. Your shift may vary and isnt always a traditional schedule. This is a physical role: expect to be on your feet for your entire shift.
What you bring- Age 18 or older.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as needed.
- Ability to lift 1550 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Comfort standing and walking for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for long periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Capacity to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
- Comfort working in hot, cold, or humid environments with loud/hazardous equipment and occasionally slippery floors.
- 1+ year operating a forklift or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
- Forklifts, handheld scanners, and Inventory Control Systems.
