84 Lumber is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our Manufacturing Plant operations. This role is responsible for coordinating deliveries, routing trucks efficiently, and ensuring customers receive their orders on time while controlling transportation costs.

• Monitor delivery paperwork to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
• Group and route loads by geographic area to maximize efficiency
• Schedule delivery equipment to reduce expenses and improve performance
• Coordinate load building, checking, and staging times
• Maintain accurate delivery records (addresses, times, documentation)
• Assist with load building and freight handling as needed
• Prepare delivery analyses to improve routing efficiency
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints professionally
• Utilize order processing, inventory, internet, and routing software systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively
• Comfortable speaking in front of small groups
• Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
