Position
Technician II – Middleton, TN
Responsibilities- Landscaping and Janitorial – Coordinate and maintain facility grounds, grass, trees, bushes, and plant life; maintain the exterior aesthetics of the building; clear debris such as branches or litter; oversee cleaning and ordering of janitorial supplies for both the Middleton and Walnut facilities; restock consumables and remove debris; assist with monthly safety audits.
- Carpentry and Painting – Perform advanced carpentry work, including repairs to walls, doors, trim, and windows; paint, fabricate, and maintain metal ladders and catwalks as required.
- Plumbing and Electrical – Resolve electrical problems such as faulty light switches, dead bulbs, and wall sockets; ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently; repair plumbing issues such as leaky faucets and malfunctioning equipment; handle light repair in office spaces.
- Contracting and Sub‑contracting Liaison – Act as the company liaison with contractors and sub‑contractors for work in and around the facility; assist fire protection system contractors as needed.
- HVAC System – Provide routine maintenance and light repair, including filter changes and other maintenance tasks; assist HVAC contractors in resolving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning issues.
- High school diploma and/or technical school diploma required.
- 4–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (or equivalent).
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and internet search engines.
- Initiative and ability to anticipate needs; work independently with minimal guidance.
- General mechanical experience maintaining equipment.
- Organizational and time‑management skills.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
