Summary of

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Be generally friendly and caring
  • Greet all guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Control park access at host, guest, and service entrances
  • Search bags by visual and/or mechanical device
  • Operate electronic metal detection units and handheld wands
  • Scan guests and handle situations with prohibited items professionally
  • Provide professional guest services such as directions, answering questions, friendly conversation and representing the company positively
  • Observe suspicious activity and report to armed officer, supervisor or law enforcement
  • Work at multiple positions as needed during changes in attendance flow
  • Work outdoors, standing for extended periods in all weather conditions
  • Take possession of lost property and return to Lost & Found
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Prior law enforcement or security experience preferred
  • Certified as an unarmed security officer by the State of Tennessee, licensed by the Department of Commerce & Insurance Private Protection Services under the Tennessee Code Annotated 62‑35 Act
  • At least eighteen (18) years old
  • Valid driver’s license and state‑required auto insurance
  • First Aid and CPR certification upon completion of team safety training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • No felony convictions or guilty pleas to violent or drug offenses; must hold honorable discharge or none from armed forces
  • Fingerprints on file with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation
  • Physical examination by a licensed physician if requested
  • Good moral character as determined by a thorough investigation

  • Drive company vehicle with valid license & insurance
  • Meet physical demands, tolerate temperatures, work heights up to 60 ft.
  • Pass pre‑hire and random drug screens as directed
  • Sit and stand for long/short periods
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
  • Lifting up to 50 lb occasionally to frequently per safety guidelines
  • Intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing, walking up to 13 hr; may travel across property with uneven terrain
  • Repetitive hand/arm movements during shift
  • Exposed to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold; work indoors and outdoors
  • Cognitive: critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, effective communication
