What you'll do

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technologies, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, and manages customer service initiatives including community programs, ensuring customer needs and issues are resolved and driving action plans for improvement.

Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses, and ensuring merchandise presentation, inventory flow and operational processes support sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training and mentoring, setting clear expectations, recognizing associates, and promoting a sense of belonging. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, and measuring progress toward results.

Maintains compliance with company policies and ethics, supports Open Door policy, and applies these principles to business processes.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a CBC and firearms training may be required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U/Bellevue University) or related experience; 5+ direct reports experience including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly wage range is $31.25 - $38.46, with eligibility for performance bonuses. Additional compensation may include location-based pay and other differential allowances where applicable.
