Job Responsibilities
  • Build proficiency related to serving and selling to our customers while providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty
    • Help customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in‑store.
    • Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in‑store.
    • Side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
  • Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools in interactions and onboarding to actively demonstrate
    • How our coverage stacks up in customers’ neighborhoods.
    • Why T‑Mobile plans and services will let our customers live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected and go further.
  • Complete training on T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills and processes, knowledge of systems and reference resources.
  • Make the most of their time on shift by consistently seeking out information between customers, learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
  • Establish relationships and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service
    • Collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues, creating a seamless, run‑around‑free environment.
    • Identify and hand off small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and create an inclusive environment.
Education
  • High School Diploma/GED – Req
Work Experience
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred – Req

Skills and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it – Req
  • Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment – Req

T‑Mobile’s Commitment

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status. All employees at T‑Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.

All who are eligible receive an Annual Stock Grant.
