Accumulate and report data pertinent to ensuring fuel quality specifications are met and a quality product is delivered to the customer.
LocationOn-site in Erwin, TN.
Your Day to Day as a Clerical Employee- Read and sign applicable inspection procedures prior to performing any inspection.
- The training/qualification of a Clerk will be accomplished by job assignment and instruction during actual work performance by a Quality Engineer or a trained and qualified Quality Control Clerk.
- Input data from fuel processing area into computer to generate historical data file.
- Input analytical data into computer from analysis reports from fuel processing area.
- Check analysis reports for use of correct procedure.
- Perform batch and sublot yields.
- Plot contractually required control charts.
- Inspect product shipping containers and sample shipping containers for cleanliness. Enter container numbers into computer.
- Prepare shipping labels for product shipping containers.
- Input Quality Control blind sample analytical data in computer for control charts.
- File Quality Control copy of analysis report cards.
- Assemble completed certifications in binding files.
- Package fuel customer retainer samples and prepare packing list.
- Assist in physical inventory.
- Perform double verification of semi and finished sublot data when contractually required.
High School Diploma plus one year of college Chemistry and/or Physics.
Experience Requirements of Job (Beyond Education or equivalent requirements)- The ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and/or written procedures; the ability to perform basic arithmetic, record keeping, data entry and/or personal computer skills, and algebraic calculations, ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
- Prior industrial clerical experience of one (1) year is desired.
Pay: $35.79
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Position requires U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship) with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance. This involves an extensive criminal and financial background investigation, drug test, and previous employment reference verifications.
