Description

The Center on Aging and Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in Erwin. This full‑time, on‑site position offers an exceptional opportunity for entry‑level professionals to play a vital role in delivering quality care to our residents, including veterans and their families.

As an LPN at our facility, you will be integral in providing compassionate healthcare services in a supportive environment. Located conveniently approximately 20 minutes from Johnson City, Tennessee, and 40 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina, we pride ourselves on fostering a familial atmosphere where every staff member is valued. You will have the chance to contribute to meaningful healthcare experiences every day.

We offer a competitive salary range of $25.50 - $34.60 hourly, along with comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document residents’ health status and vital signs
  • Assist in daily living activities to ensure residents’ comfort and well‑being
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident assessments
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and standards
Requirements
  • Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the healthcare field
