Monday – Friday with possible Saturdays

Hours:

6:40 a.m. – until finished

Pay: $23.25 per hour

• Set up equipment in preparation for startup, responsible for making precision cuts to the carcass and separating meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield, while adhering to safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.
• Responsible for setting up the area with all needed equipment.
• Monitor production area for trash and food debris on the floor.
• Perform various other tasks as assigned by the Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Average training time may require 2–3 months.
• May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds.
• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• Must clean up the area at the end of the production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. Must be willing and able to perform tasks for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, which may include standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.

• Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture, or production experience.
