Robinson Stave Mill, Medon, TN
Job Description/Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the milling equipment; this includes completing preventative maintenance tasks, assisting the operators with breakdowns and new installations as necessary.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD).
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain conduit wire, motors and electrical equipment on 240-volt, 3 phase and 440-volt systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery.
- Identify and resolve PLC-related problems.
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of prior Maintenance work experience required
- Ability to work 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as necessary
- Nights: 5:00pm-3:30am
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
- Must be able to read electric schematics and have knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Associate's or technical degree, preferred
Compensation
- Min USD $24.36/Yr.
- Max USD $36.55/Yr.
