Starting Pay
: $18.00 per hour plus additional shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends.

Applicants must reside in the United States. Priority consideration will be provided to internal applicants first. Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred.
Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gap greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If laid off or providing child or elder care, the gap may be increased to 18 months. Full‑time students for the last 36 months are excluded from this requirement.
Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

ScheduleMonday – Friday
HoursStart time 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. Work schedule is subject to change based on production needs. This position averages 40 hours per week and includes working holidays.
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for many different tasks and duties. It checks in daily with management regarding the day’s tasks and duties.
Minimum Requirements- Experience:
6 months in related experience preferred. Experience with Excel preferred.
- Clean chemical room, chiller pad, offal room, muffler room, parking lot, and outside building weekly. (20%)
- Setter checks, check all Lafferty systems and refills daily, treat drains weekly, change filters bi‑weekly. (25%)
- Proper inventory practices - Chemical, PPE, Sanitation, etc. (20%)
- Stocks labs and puts up stock. (15%)
- Fill in for 2nd and 3rd shift. (15%)
- Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
- These may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as: operate a high pressure and regular water hose, general sanitation, pre‑pull, and support with breakouts. (5%)
- The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn except for medical . Must sign an agreement to avoid avian species and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines.
The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Use safe lifting. Pull empty farm and setter buggies (~200 lb). Push/pull buggies up to 700–1300 lb. Occasionally lift chick boxes (~15 lb). Bend, stoop, reach above head, stand majority of shift. Obtain scissor lift certification.
- Tools and Equipment:
Farm and setter buggies, pallet jack, foamer, high pressure, water hose, floor scrubber, scale and thermometer. - Environment:
Wet, slippery surfaces and hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. - Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety goggles, face shield, chemical/rubber gloves, waterproof apron, rubber boots, ear plugs, NIOSH approved N95 respirators as needed. Safety glasses required. - Common Chemicals:
Disinfectants and foamers. - Safety:
Trained to recognize and comply with all safety policies. Follow hazard communication, respiratory protection, LOTO and PPE. Identify, address and mitigate safety risks.
