The Mining and Infrastructure Attachments division is a global leader in developing, manufacturing, and marketing hydraulic attachment tools, ground engaging tools, and infrastructure battery-powered hand tools and attachments. • In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to operate cranes, fabricate product, and maintain welding tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the quality and production standards of the company. Specifically, you’ll:
• Layout, position, align and fit components into welding fixture as instructed.
• Set up gas-shield, MIG weld and weld parts to job specifications.
• Remove rough spots from castings, using portable powered grinder and hand file, to finish welded parts.
• Position metal components in assembly using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler.
• Lift and position components on assembly table using electric crane, jacks and shims.
• Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, weld various metal parts together.
• Operate various equipment necessary to fabricate (jigs, fixtures, grinders, tape measure, level, hammer, etc.).
• Receive instructions, prints and work orders for the job. Plan details of working procedure and tools and material requirements.
• Fabricate equipment by cutting, burning and welding various metals, and clean and prepare surfaces to be welded. Set up, assemble, and tack weld parts.
• Build up worn or defective surfaces, and keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.

You’re a curious problem solver who can bring big ideas to life. You’re creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You’re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we always deliver top-notch customer experiences. You also have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy duty machining/manufacturing environment, preferred
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
• Demonstrated skill level of wire feed (MIG) welding
• Ability to read and understand work order routings and instructions
• Ability to layout parts using weld fixtures
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
