Job SummarySupervises workers in a warehouse.
Responsibilities- Oversee operations for a warehouse or during an assigned shift
- Coordinate a team of hourly employees that store and distribute materials, equipment and/or supplies
- Track inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems
- Monitor operations for compliance with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices
- Lead and direct the work of other employees
- Typically have full authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions
- Typically require a high school diploma and 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to foster teamwork
- Analytical thinking skills
