Warehouse Supervisor – Manufacturing | East Tennessee | Direct Hire | 1st Shift
We’re partnering with a leading manufacturing company in East Tennessee seeking a talented Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire, first-shift position offering excellent pay, benefits, and career advancement in a growing industrial environment.
What You’ll DoAs the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting production and material flow across the facility. You’ll lead a dedicated warehouse team responsible for material handling, storage operations, inventory accuracy, and internal part distribution to meet production and delivery goals.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all warehouse activities including material receipt, storage, picking/kitting, and point-of-use distribution for manufacturing operations.
- Plan and direct daily workflow to achieve operational goals in productivity, accuracy, and team development.
- Improve processes related to warehouse layout, material flow, and part presentation to reduce inefficiency and waste.
- Drive problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with ISO and company standards.
- Monitor performance metrics and use data to drive improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
- Manage department budgets and support cost reduction initiatives.
- High school diploma/GED required;
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred. - 5+ years of warehouse supervision or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
. - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling systems, and inventory best practices.
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems (SAP or QAD preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster teamwork and inspire a culture of continuous improvement.
