Ship-Rec Material Handler

PURPOSE / SUMMARY

Accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and insure delivery of materials/product to proper location.

• Unload trucks and verify accuracy using packing slip
• Receive all income material/product using SAP/Scanner
• Once all material/product has been received, label properly and put away in correct locations. Bin to bin all material/product to location
• Communicate discrepancies by using the receiving discrepancy tool that is in SharePoint.
• Process paperwork - YM36

This position reports to Receiving Supervisor

High School Diploma / GED or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to navigate internet to access Customer Portals.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in basic mathematical functions, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
