• Able to lead and train team members in proper techniques for operation, setup, and equipment/die adjustments based on safety, quality, and cycle time requirements.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians and Engineering in installation, debugging, repair, modification, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Develop and implement procedures utilizing knowledge of production specifications, properties, and characteristics of metals, metal alloys, and engineering principles.
• Conduct research and development projects to develop new or modify current methods, techniques, and procedures.
• Able to methodically troubleshoot setup and equipment issues and effectively determine root causes and countermeasures.
• Able to conceptualize, design, fabricate, and build items to aid in or improve current manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation.
• Operate powered industrial equipment if needed.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area).
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform work under direct supervision.
• Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff.
• Possess a beginning level of knowledge of subject matter.
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment.
