Condenser Bushing Builder
About the Role:
Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is recruiting for a Condenser Bushings Builder. Applicants must be able to assemble, process (including impregnation, if required) fit for shipping of all power bushings.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to prove and maintain ability to access and read drawings, along with the ability to run required SAP transactions.
- Foil cutting and spring assembly experience
- Ability to assemble bushings according to procedures, specifications and customer requirements
- Able to keep work area free from clutter, clean and free of all contaminants
- Able to work with materials such as paper, oil, gaskets, various metal parts (aluminum, copper, and steel), epoxy compounds, glass, sealants, porcelain, and foil
- May be required to give information to engineering, purchasing, customer service and shipping
- Must be able to train continuously on new equipment or new processes within the organization, based upon assignment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year manufacturing experience
