Overview

Position: Millwright Reports to: Project Manager

We are looking for a Millwright to join our team in Rossville. Our Millwright is responsible for managing project installations and supervising contractors.

This role is physically demanding as you will be lifting, moving, and handling large parts of equipment for the bulk of your job. KNOWLEDGE & Skills

• You have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite.
• You have superb project and time management skills.
• You have excellent mathematical and mechanical skills.
• You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Experience

• You have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility; preferably food manufacturing.

Nice-to-Have

• Electrical/Power Engineering ticket
• Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing;
  Six Sigma

• Manage project installations as directed within the allocated time and budget
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings
• Operate hoisting/lifting device and operate machine tools as needed
• Install, align, take apart, troubleshoot, and move stationary industrial machinery/mechanical equipment using appropriate tools
• Work with various departments to ensure company, safe work, and SOPs policies are in effect
• Ensure contractor WCB approvals, plant safety programs orientation and confidentiality statements

• You might need to work different shift rotations depending on availability, available for short notice call-ins, and more
