Responsibilities

• Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles and storage areas within the warehouse.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Perform all tasks safely, complying with safety rules including ZES and confined space entry.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Use equipment such as RF guns to find and pick products for orders.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for processing orders, restocking, and inventory management.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests accurately and promptly.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or storage.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and containers.
• Record received or distributed materials.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly or other processes.
• Inspect products for defects before packing for shipping.
• Unload trucks and organize materials in the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory records on the computer.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Perform routine warehouse housekeeping.
• Contribute to team efforts and achieve key performance measures:
  Safety, Quality, Uptime, and Yield.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing/Process Improvement teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts with pole and clamp attachments in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to perform operations using units of currency, weight, volume, and distance.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
