Job Description
The Assistant Center Supervisor will oversee aspects of management and operation of The Clays shooting center at Lone Oaks Farm. This position reports to The Clays at Lone Oaks Farm Center Supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesAssume operational leadership during the Center Supervisor’s absence.
- Operate the center when the Center Supervisor is off‑site or not on the work schedule.
- Help maintain a clean and ready facility, including outdoor tasks, landscaping, and sporting clays equipment; also clean restrooms, kitchen, and pro shop.
- Coordinate with farm staff to secure needed equipment or supplies.
- Assist the Center Supervisor in training, supervising, and scheduling part‑time employees for daily operation, adjusting work schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Assume or reassign any staff absent and/or unable to perform job functions.
- Help supervise and maintain equipment.
- Coordinate events and landscape maintenance with other staff at Lone Oaks Farm.
- Special projects as assigned by the Center Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Management and logistics experience.
- Knowledge of safety, range operations, and range SOPs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficient with office technology.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Efficient execution of directives.
- Hands‑on ability for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours.
- Knowledge of firearms operations, safety, and range operations.
- Retail and public relations experience.
- Friendly and positive daily attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility.

- Anticipated hiring range: $41,475.52 – $49,770.63
