POSITION: People & Culture Manager, Manufacturing
REPORTS TO: Plant Director
We are looking for a People & Culture Manager - Manufacturing to join our People & Culture team at our Rossville Plant! Our People & Culture Manager will champion our company culture initiatives and ensure the effective delivery of services throughout their area of responsibility!
OPPORTUNITIESIn this role, you will have a significant hand in executing an effective strategy that promotes Silver Hills as an employer of choice! The primary challenge is to help us continue to build the foundation of a progressive People & Culture practice within this hyper‑growth, family‑owned organization. You must be resourceful and demonstrate a solutions‑based approach to the important work you are leading, as well as excellent leadership and coaching skills.
You will have the opportunity to lead a team, drive change, and further develop your skills working on challenging and exciting projects!
Working closely with the Plant Director and the corporate head office, you will roll out and implement P&C initiatives to support the effective operations of our Manufacturing at Rossville, TN.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of BC Employment Standards legislation
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Great presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- 5‑8 years of progressive experience working in Human Resources or related field
- Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- Experience working in a culturally diverse work environment
- Experience leading and developing a team
- PHR or relevant professional designation
- Experience working in a food manufacturing facility
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of the organizational culture at Silver Hills
- Act as an ambassador of the People & Culture mission in all aspects of your work
- Provide excellent guidance and coaching to the manufacturing team
- Manage recruitment & hiring activities for the Manufacturing group
- Oversee various learning & development initiatives and provide ongoing coaching to the team
- Actively partner with key stakeholders to forecast needs related to manpower and organizational development
- Consult with managers/supervisors on employee issues and oversee effective corrective action process
- Conduct annual compensation reviews and guide potential changes
- Champion people‑related Health & Safety activities across the board and guide the H&S Manager as needed
- Implement strategic initiatives working in partnership with the Vice President, People & Corporate

Manufacturing, Warehouse, Maintenance, Projects, Quality Control and other relevant areas within the plant - Salaried:
Supervisory staff within the manufacturing facility
