Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Warehouse team at our Rossville Plant! Our Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations and providing ongoing team leadership and support.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage warehouse staff in a dynamic 24 /6 processing facility to ensure compliance with all Process, Safety, and Food Safety standards
  • Lead and develop a team providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support
  • Schedule warehouse operations establishing priorities and sequences for shipping and receiving products
  • Control inventory of both frozen and dry finished products as well as ingredients in multiple warehouse locations
  • Maintain product quality standards and establish fill rate targets in a cost‑competitive model
  • Prepare Daily Shift Reports and ensure that daily KPI’s are updated and accurate
  • Take on, lead, and facilitate continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure new and existing staff are properly trained and maintain up to date certifications in accordance with internal training program guidelines
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback and goal planning
  • Partner with People and Culture team to maintain and identify talent needs, resolve issues, and build a positive culture on the floor
  • Ensure that daily/weekly toolbox talks with Supervisors and Employees are taking place
  • Assist in the coordination of domestic, international and U.S. freight
  • Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and ensure compliance
  • Manage attendance and hours worked through Ceridian
  • Obtain Forklift & mobile equipment training certificate and be responsible for the training of all staff who will operate mobile equipment. Keep all records up to date of staff who are qualified and communicate with the department managers who are qualified
  • You may on occasion work at various times including weekends, as the job requires
  • You will also be partnering with a Procurement team to develop just‑in‑time material flow
  • Manager will work closely with finance to maintain inventory accuracy in dry and frozen category
  • You will work with OHS manager to maintain safe work procedures and mobile equipment usage
