Facilities Support Associate
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll is seeking a dedicated and reliable Facilities Support Associate to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring that all campus facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean, and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time position with paid holidays and benefits package.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of janitorial/custodial and/or grounds‑keeping experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Perform cleaning and grounds‑keeping work as required, maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep of the buildings and immediate grounds.
- Maintain daily removal of inside/outside trash from all buildings, lawns, and parking lots.
- Clean counters, sinks, floors, tables, drinking fountains, and chairs in breakroom areas.
- Vacuum classrooms, lobbies, and offices.
- Dust mop/wet mop halls.
- All restrooms cleaned and mopped daily.
- Supply hand towels, toilet tissue and hand soap to restroom and shop areas daily.
- Clean glass doors/windows as needed.
- Traveling to different locations is required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications, experience, education and in accordance with the guidelines established by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
