Location: Pigeon Forge

Come work with our action-packed Food Team at an award-winning go-kart and ride park in the Great Smoky Mountains. Interns will learn multiple daily roles within our operation:
Arcade, Foods Service and Facility Cleanliness. Learn to view your work role through the eyes of a manager as you learn to be a flexible and supportive team member who can focus on the basics of operations while maintaining excellence in safety, guest service and teamwork. Grow your leadership potential by gaining experience as a knowledgeable and flexible team member who can be a part of solving the challenges of the day.

This internship will provide valuable on-the-job experience and includes opportunities to participate in leadership training sessions and to complete a resume-building project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist guests in their purchases of food and arcade
  • Operate POS and cash registers systems.
  • Provide excellent guest service and answer guest questions.
  • Prepare a wide variety of food selections.
  • Keep public areas clean, sanitized, organized and well-stocked
  • Assist with arcade experience including the operation of virtual reality, redemption experience, being a game attendant or performing regular machine upkeep including loading tickets.
  • Identify Guest Experience improvement opportunities and develop solutions and training tools.

  • Promote a Harassment-free workplace by minimizing gossip, treating all team members with respect and reporting inappropriate behavior or conversations that could be considered harassment or discriminatory.
  • Assist guests in their arcade and redemption selections.
  • Respond to calls to provide basic cleaning to public areas and/or restrooms.
  • Answer general questions and be helpful, friendly and courteous.
  • Welcome and assist Guests to find solutions to their questions and challenges/opportunities.
  • Explain requirements in a respectful, positive and proactive manner.
  • Share special offers with guests to provide best options.
Always Safe
  • Safe preparation and service of food
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized facility and/or work station
  • Follow safety guidelines and promote safety
  • Maintain common areas (furniture, tables, chairs, benches) baseboard tiles, directories, billboards, trash receptacles, ash urns, storefronts, and signage free of dust, dirt and grime.
  • Assure common areas are cleaned regularly.
  • Maintain restroom cleanliness and safety.
  • Mark spills and notify Property Maintenance or Manager on Duty to prevent a safety hazard.
  • Regularly wipe down door handles and frames, tables, arcade games & countertops.
  • Ensure that toilet paper, paper towels, soap and sanitizer stations are filled.
  • Remove trash and foreign material from plant beds and floor planters.
  • Follow safe money-handling processes.
  • Report any malfunction or unsafe or suspicious behavior immediately to supervisor.
  • Maintain proper cleaning/ sanitizing and organizing procedures.
  • Use proper radio etiquette.
