Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (IV Compounding) - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd (evening) shift (12 pm - 9 pm).

Base compensation:
Hourly $25+ in Tennessee (actual compensation varies based on location, education, experience, and skill set).

• Perform IV automation tasks in an aseptic, error-free manner, consistent with prescribed guidelines.
• Perform IV automation equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs procedures when handling medications.
• Identify and order medications to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor and order consumable supplies required for equipment operation.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and prescribed maintenance of IV automation equipment, reporting unresolved issuesatég to the IV HD.

• Maintain high level communication with pharmacyência services manager and customers, ensuring proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by aligning theပ္ Pharmacy Services Program to provide customer-focused support, emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness. Act as liaison between OMCL and customer to assist with customer concerns.
• Comply with IV Compounding procedures, policies, and guidelines established by the customer facility.
• Complete negative fingertip and media fill sampling.
• Maintain state and/or national credentialing to meet established guidelines.

• Good organizational skills, accurate, reliable, and efficient.
• Demonstrated customer-facing skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with mechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware and PC Windows.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB/NHA-CPhT or EXCPT).
• Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License / Registration with the State of TN (if required).
• Some working knowledge of / familiarity with IV compounding preferred (minimum 1 year of IV Compounding strongly preferred).
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

• Advanced Troubleshooting Skills interoperability with automation devices.
• 2+ years of IV Compounding experience.
• Hospital / Inpatient Pharm Tech experience.
• Knowledge of safe handling of hazardous medications.
• Proficient in PPE and hand hygiene techniques.
• Working knowledge of sterile environment requirements.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy automation.
