Physical Therapy Technician-( M-F North Etowah TN

Bench Mark Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking for a PRN Physical Therapy Technician to join our team in Etowah, TX

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT/PTA or OT/OTA, the technician will provide limited assistance to therapists with patient activities consistent with the scope of the Missouri Physical Therapy Practice Act. This position is responsible for supporting the mission, vision and values of SERC Physical & Hand Therapy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide limited assistance to therapists with patient activities consistent with the scope of the Missouri Physical Therapy Practice Act.
• Perform laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, clean tables between patient use, stock carts with towels and pillowcases; clean exercise equipment at least once daily and more frequently as warranted; contribute to overall clinic tidiness, including emptying trash, vacuuming, and maintaining the waiting room.
• Manage phone and scheduling functions: answer phones, process referrals, schedule patients, document cancellations, no‑shows, and reschedulings; handle co‑pay and patient supply orders; locate supplies, charts, and paperwork; perform copy/fax tasks; administer initial evaluation paperwork.
• Communicate effectively, follow written and oral instructions, and assist and prepare patients for treatment using various therapy exercises and equipment.
• Proficiency in Spanish is required; excellent verbal and written Spanish skills are mandatory.
• Other duties as assigned.
