The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and ensures delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.
• Show understanding of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s age‑specific needs.
• Assess patients/families’ ability to learn and incorporate teaching.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for the radiology department.

• Graduate of a 24‑month Radiological Technology Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
• ARRT registered.
• One year of experience (preferred).

Parkridge West Hospital provides 24‑hour emergency medical services, outpatient diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, physical therapy, and an innovative telestroke program.
