• Providing direct patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Assisting nursing staff with vital signs, specimen collection, routine observations, and reporting changes in patient condition promptly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
• Supporting patient mobility and safety using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Documenting care provided in accordance with department standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.
• CNA certification required.

Starr Regional Medical Center – Etowah Campus is a home to an emergency department, outpatient services, an 88‑bed skilled and long‑term care nursing home, a senior care program and wound care center.
