Seeking a Limited X-ray Machine Operator/Medical Assistant to provide expertise and champion patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, administering IM injections.
- Performing all x-ray/imaging services per provider’s orders and updating patient charts.
- Collecting patient history and documenting in EHR.
- Applying splints, dressings, and bandages.
- Assisting with check-in/check-out and auditing charts.
- Maintaining records and logs of activities.
- Keeping patients and visitors informed.
You should have:
- 1+ year of clinical experience (helpful but not required).
- Experience with EHR systems (beneficial).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or approved BOTP program.
- Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO/LMRT) license in your state.
- Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of start.
- Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.
